SHOWTIME 7:30pm About Darren Motamedy:                                                                                                                                      Saxophonist Darren Motamedy has been on the Smooth Jazz Scene since 1989.  His first album “First Generation” hit the top 20 in Radio and Records and landed also on the Billboard Charts.  Subsequent albums followed including “Square One”, “Dangerously Close” “It’s All Good”, “Intimate”, “Relax Your Mind”, “Peace”, “The Best of Darren Motamedy”, “Don’t Cha’ Know”, “Gruv Horn” “All About Love”, “Live a Special Day, and his current 60’s/70’s era tribute to jazz “Distant” His strength as a musician lead him to become endorsed by a major saxophone manufacturer.  He is an in demand educator and clinician and currently is composing his 12th album written for Jazz Ensemble.
